Why use Mondizen’s Multi-shop service?

There are many advantages to using the Multi-shop service. First and foremost you can shop on any French website. You can even buy French products that are only available in France. Other advantages are:

• By combining multiple purchases you will pay less per kilogram for international shipping
• You will be eligible for special discounts with our partner web shops
• Because you will pay for all your purchases with your Mondizen account, you won’t need to open accounts with other web shops
• We will deal with problems, such as delivery delays, as they arise
• You interact with us in English and we will deal with the web shops in French
• We will keep your purchases in storage for up to 6 months
• Our Multi-shop service can be combined with other Mondizen services, such as Grouped Delivery (Club) or Customized Order

How much does it cost?

You can pay for your Multi-shop service in one of two ways:

• By taking a subscription of 99 euros, paid in advance, for unlimited storage
• By paying a handling fee of 5 euros per product added to your Multi-Shop Storage

A sales charge of 15% is added to the product price. Mondizen generates revenue from this charge.

If you live outside the European VAT tax zone VAT is refunded.

For customers using the Multi-shop subscription service the 5 euro handling fee would not apply, therefore the final product price per item would be 95.99 euros. In this case the Multi-shop service would save 4.01 euros.

How do I pay for the Multi-shop service?

You can pay for your Multi-shop service in one of two ways:

• An annual subscription of 99 euros, with no charges for storage in Multi-shop Storage, go to the Multi-shop Service subscription page
• Pay 5 euros per product stored in Multi-shop Storage, no annual fee, simply install the Mondizen Multi-shop button and start multi-shopping

What types of products can I buy?

You can buy from any French web shop.

You will be responsible for the importation of the products into your country of residence, so it is important that you only buy products that are allowed by your country's customs.

The transport is not temperature controlled. So you cannot purchase fresh or frozen food.

There are detailed descriptions of import restrictions provided by:

The following, non exhaustive, list provides some broad guidelines about the types of products that can be more complicated or impossible to import, depending on your destination.

• Combustible/flammable items (paints, oils, lighters, nail polish, perfume)
• Any type of pressurized can (hair spray, shaving cream, spray cans of any type)
• Hazardous materials (matches, chemicals, explosives)
• Firearms, weaponry and their parts
• Agricultural products such as tobacco, plants and seeds.
• Coffee
• Perishable foods
• Animals and products made with animal skin (furs)
• Alcohol
• Cash, currency, money orders, cashiers' checks, bank drafts, bearer bonds and collectible stamps and coins
• Lottery tickets and gambling devices
• Prescription and/or veterinary medication

How long can I stock items in my Multi-shop Storage?

You can keep items in storage up to 6 months. After this time you can choose to have the products destroyed or shipped, either to yourself or someone else.

How can I know the international shipping costs?

Mondizen provides a calculator for estimating shipping for products sold by Mondizen.

We cannot give you an exact shipping estimate until the goods have been purchased and weighed at our warehouse. But as soon as this information is available you will see the shipping cost updated in your Multi-shop Storage

Will I pay import duties and taxes?

This depends on the types of products you are importing, the value of the products and the destination. Some countries do not impose duties on importation below a certain value.

You should expect to pay import duties.

The French VAT will be refunded if you are importing.

How can I test the Multi-shop Service?

You can try out the service immediately, with a 5 euro handling fee per product. Just install the Multi-shop button at the top of this page and start shopping.

What if I change my mind about a purchase?

If you change your mind within 10 days of purchasing the product and the product has not yet been shipped to you then we will refund 100% of the purchase price. Handling fees are not refundable.

If the product has already been shipped, you must return it to Mondizen at your own expense in order to receive a refund.

Does Mondizen make sure my purchases are in good condition?

We inspect packages when they arrive at our warehouse but we do not open them. If a package is damaged, we immediately deal with the supplier and have the product replaced with no charge to you.

If the packaging needs to be reinforced for international transport, we will attend to this also at no charge.

Will my shipments be insured?

Our transport partners provide insurance.If the amount exceeds the standard insurance provided by our transporters, you will have the option to purchase additional insurance.

Will my products be protected by warranty?

Yes. If there is a a requirement to provide details for registering a warranty or gaurantee then we will provide the information you entered in your Mondizen account.
